The Bottom Line: Best for Boosting Sales with the most feature-rich hosted online store builders

BigCommerce is one of the most feature-rich hosted online store builders – in particular, its entry-level plan offers more built-in features than many competing products, and its “multi-storefront” feature, which lets you build multiple stores with just one account, represents excellent value for money.

It’s strong on SEO, with good control over all SEO elements and offers automatic image optimization out of the box. Its multi-currency selling capabilities are also very good – for me, its international selling approach is one of the strongest arguments for using the product over competing products.

The main area where BigCommerce needs improvement is probably its template selection – We think the free options offered could be more diverse, they are not as editable as they should be, and it would be nice if they gave you access to a wider range of web fonts.
