Trello is a project management tool that uses a kanban board to keep track of what needs to be done. It’s a great way to see an overview of a project’s progress, though keeping track of subtasks and dependencies is tricky.
We can do many things with Trello: collaborative projects, task management, project management, time management, to-do lists, client management, study guides, wedding planning, home organization, business management, social media management, content curation, blogging processes, household assignments, and more.
Here’s how to delete a Trello board:
1. Go to the Trello board you want to delete, and select the Show menu.
2. Click More.
3. Select Close board… at the bottom of the dropdown list.
4. Click Permanently delete the board from the screen that shows up next.
Keep in mind: once you hit delete, there’s no coming back—your data will be gone for good.
A couple of other notes:
1. You currently can’t delete Trello boards from the mobile app. If for some reason, you have deleted a board on the go, log in to the web app on your mobile device, and follow the steps shared above.
2. You can’t delete Trello boards if you’re a guest in a workspace or a board member without admin privileges. You’ll have to either request admin access or ask someone else to delete the board.
Trello has a free plan and three paid plans. Standard ($6 per user per month), Premium ($12.5 per user per month), and Enterprise ($17.50 per user per month), all billed annually.
Trello was created in 2011 by Fog Creek Software, it was spun out to form the basis of a separate company in New York City in 2014 and sold to Atlassian in January 2017.
Now Trello is a web-based, kanban-style, list-making application and is developed by Trello Enterprise, a subsidiary of Atlassian.
